It will be a truly epic moment in AJAS history. And we need a healthy Stockman in attendance!

Yeah, I didn't come to the final October meeting because I wasn't feeling that good myself. Turned out to be a good decision - my stomach has gone to hell. But no mind - I will be there for the next one. I can't wait to see how people react to this one!

It's a repeat of Legendary Girl Utena, isn't it?
Although I don’t know about the directions at 4:51.
It’s commonly known when you look north in Japan East is to your left. Please don’t try to correct that sentence. It lasts only for a second but I wouldn’t expect a mistake like that.

gg is the biggest reason we aren't simply rolling into Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, so that is more of an issue than people would believe.

yeah there the soul sub group of this 3rd season but they can't keep it constant... sure they sub umineko on a regualar interval basis but now they seem to slow right down with other shows and give it a massive gap i understand they are F' wits but there the only ones subbing so have to be thankful for that...

The members of gg who do the Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei work are gattai. Yeah, the guys with the HOWAAAAAAAAAAARD MAAAAAAAAAAAAAASOOOOOOON subs for the early Macross Frontier episodes. Their translator has a tendency to vanish for long periods of time without warning, which led to many delays in a certain other project of theirs.

5 episodes is all that is needed for the rest of this year. The October crop has already reached 4 episodes in most series. Next week they'll be at the 5th and we'll be set. So the new series will get a vote in the final meeting of the year. Running out of episodes won't be a problem.

What's going to be more concerning is what to play when AJAS re-commences next year. I'm seeing 4-5 shows needing to be replaced come 2010.

We could always use Horrible Subs work. Who aren't nearly as horrible as they say they are, thanks to leeching off the work of Crunchytroll. 8)

I still can't see where there's a real problem with this. GG are only 1 ep away from finishing, and it will take at least 3 months for us to get to the end of it (more actually since it we wouldn't be able to finish it this year), and, even given GG's track record, I think they'll finish ep13 before we get to it. And even if they don't, then you simply move onto something else and when/if ep13 is released, play it on the following OAV/scary anime night.

And as ARTA8SIMS said earlier, if you go onto a new show such as Seitokai no Ichizon or Kimi ni Todoke and the groups subbing it drop it, then you're in trouble much earlier since there aren't as many eps out yet.

Really, if that's the ONLY reason you're not playing Zan, then I personally can't see a problem at all.

FMS and Eclipse are fast & efficient groups. The moe fanatics like SnI, KnT is a major title in Japan. I don't see a problem with either being finished. And like I said before, only need 5 eps for the rest of the year. 4 are already done, 5th is out in a few days. Series will be done in December. No real issue.

No, the reason i'm not playing it is so that AJAS can take a break of shows produced by SHAFT.

lol from my point of view there's no need for a break its good show which is unique comical way...
on the other hand i do hear it alot from lower level audience members a bit confused as to what is going on for 24mins...

I'm thinking there is a little too much aggro starting here.

And I'm thinking it is going to stop.

Because I'm thinking of applying my admin powers to people.

And then I'll make you all suffer with the 40 show theme quiz on Tuesday, in which I throw bricks at people who can't answer what goes with what.

All in the best possible way, of course.

Now that's just silly. You've got a popular show and you're NOT gonna play it simply because you've had too many shows from the same producer?

I can't see a TV station citing the same/similar sort of reason not to play a popular show.

'Oh no, we're not gonna play the new season of Underbelly yet, we've had too much of that sort of show' yeah right.

Have you ever noticed the same kinds of shows have been coming out from SHAFT in the last couple of years? Besides, it's only a couple of months that you'll have to wait, as Zan WILL be played in early 2010... :D
