by Dhumahn » Tue Jul 14, 2009 11:10 pm

The dreaded writing blog for Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei should be up by the end of the week.... if you don't know what I'm on about, see this thread for series 1:

So even though Rideback lost the vote to Zetsubou Sensei, it's being played anyway? Hmmm, maybe I have to re-read the dictionary just in case I missed a bizarre definition of the word 'vote'...

Did anyone miss the memo about the "top two in each voteoff group getting on the playlist"? Anyone?

Then what was the point of voting between the top two?

Because 3 shows into 2 doesn't go (unless you wanted me to play them both on the screen together, with the sound all mashed up, for 12 long weeks :D )

Besides, the vote was for shows that would start on july 14th ONLY, and was designed so that people could choose what they wanted to see next on the playlist. It does not mean that if it doesn't win for that particular date it will never be played.

I wish I could replace the opening of Nodame Cantabile: Paris Chapter with the one from the first season. That one is so much better....

Best cornfield meet* EVAR.

*Unless you are interested in Trains and/or model trains, you've probably never heard that term before and are wondering what the hell I'm on about. Basically, it's an alternate way of saying 'train crash'. The story behind how it got the term cornfield meet is probably too long winded to go into here however.

Google it if you're interested.

I think we may have caused irreparable damage to that guy from TAFE I brought in.... Kannagi probably wasn't the best thing to show a complete anime virgin. He literally didn't know what it was until a few weeks ago. :D

Resident tank enthusiast. See me for racist and opinionated storytelling and vaguely accurate historical tank warfare-themed rants.

The speakers in that room are fantastic. I've thought this before, but Rideback gave me a tingly chill when she started it. Sounded almost as good as a real engine

It's a shame they can't process anything more complex than mono.
Although I don’t know about the directions at 4:51.
It’s commonly known when you look north in Japan East is to your left. Please don’t try to correct that sentence. It lasts only for a second but I wouldn’t expect a mistake like that.
