So, chaos;head finished, we had a close match over whether to keep Kannagi on, and when I get him I find that Anime Classic are subbing Goldran of all things. A pretty good night tonight if I say so myself. Here's to next week!
Although I don’t know about the directions at 4:51.
It’s commonly known when you look north in Japan East is to your left. Please don’t try to correct that sentence. It lasts only for a second but I wouldn’t expect a mistake like that.

A message for the group up the back of the room the previous meeting (2nd June) watching the laptop during Gurren Lagann and X'amd:

SHUT UP WHILE THE ANIME IS PLAYING OR GET OUT.

Your incessant comments about what you were watching while the rest of us were watching the two above shows did not go unnoticed by a number of us, who became so irritated that in the end we were this close (holds thumb and forefinger about half a mm apart) from actually telling you to shut up there and then.

I have no problem with you watching something totally unrelated to the playlist there, but do so quietly, or, if you must talk about it, go outside to watch it. DO NOT talk about it in the room, annoying the hell out of others there who are trying to watching what AJAS are actually playing.

But really, I can't understand why you come to AJAS if you're not going to watch what is actually being shown? It doesn't make any sense to me, if you're going to watch something else while there, surely you could stay at home and meet in each other’s homes and do that instead of annoying the hell out of others at the meet? EDIT: And as Greg notes below, it is against AJAS policy to be watching other anime (or anything really) at the meet.

Still, as I said at the start, SHUT UP OR LEAVE THE ROOM. If this happens again I may well just stand up and tell you this to your face next time.
GEEKS RULE!

Did notice them....will take note and will see if they come back next week.

Oh, and they shouldn't be playing anime in the room that's not sanctioned by us, as they'd get us into shite :x

To the scrubs at tonight's meeting:

If you've already watched a series in full and are in the room for another reason, don't ruin the experience for those who haven't and leave the room. Is common sense or simple manners beyond some people? Outside is for chatting. Inside is for viewing. Don't play something you're not supposed to play. Respect the rights of others and the rules of the club or stay at home.

And also regarding tonight and the two meetings before that - don't leave rubbish on the tables outside. There was a very disgruntled security guard that felt like writing something up against the club over that. Don't be lazy nagas and use the bin to the right of the computers. Because if the wrath of Adelaide Uni against the people who made a mess in the computing labs last month was anything to go by, Uni SA will be ruthless in their reply.

Consider that a polite form of advice. The alternative will not be pleasant.

It's a Bones show. What were you expecting?

I'm guessing he was expecting Over 9000 excessive machismo that would make him cream his pants. But that's more like Failnax.

And I expect plenty from Bones but they're as cold as they are hot. However, I consider Xam'd to be on the hot end of the scale.
