Hey Greg, is that warning on that Higurashi Rei episode true...

I smell an incoming Carl Kimlinger review if it is.

Wow, this playlist looks like it may indeed contain a copious amount of win, at very least for hellsing ultimate. Higurashi sounds like it could be pretty win too, though we'll see how that one goes :D

And にょろ~ん。。。

You bet your life it's true. I've never seen so much Tomato Cake and Mr. Delicious fanservice in my life.
Although I don’t know about the directions at 4:51.
It’s commonly known when you look north in Japan East is to your left. Please don’t try to correct that sentence. It lasts only for a second but I wouldn’t expect a mistake like that.

It was beautiful. Alas, I will not be able to partake in the buffet of manliness this week, as I've got some things I need to do. And a birthday the next day. Whoo.

So long as the average person still considers drama to be homosexual and lacking in testosterone, yes.

The general consensus here and online is that the Hellsing Ultimate OVA utterly canes the original series. So yes, there is a good chance you will like it.

hellsing ultimate is better than the original anime. it is much closer to the manga and animated in extremely high quality/detail. it takes them 3-4 months to do each episode.
too bad i won't be able to stay the night; i'll have to grab a copy of the playlist and run (why do streetgeek admin meetings always have to be on tuesday nights?)

It's the one that's accurate to the manga.

Does it have more of that catboy thing in it?

Resident tank enthusiast. See me for racist and opinionated storytelling and vaguely accurate historical tank warfare-themed rants.

A couple of the ova's tonight really made my head hurt, but Hellsing was easily the crowning moment of awesome :respect: Higurashi was a bit of a letdown, for all the hilarious situations I was expecting someone to die sometime (I had been forewarned you see)

And good lord does ufotable churn out some strange stuff  that coming from the same person who made coyote ragtime show...

Someone else said that about Higurashi Kai. "I came in too late. Everyones' stopped killing each other." :)
Normal Higurashi service resumes next episode of Rei.

It probably doesn't help that you're watching episode 4 of that series, which is, in fact, episode 2 chronologically.
And you think that made your head hurt, wait for episode 5. 8)

You can only reall blame Nasu for any confusion in KnK, since he's a complete nutter with a philosophy degree. The original novel intersperses all the content with completely undiagetic rambles about obscure aspects of philosophy.
