I'm thinking about making a 'Greatwall of FAIL'' board.
So previous spammers can be listed for the glory FAILness.
Listing their username, emailaddress(if they active) and ip(if they post)

That sounds like a good idea as I just had to take care of another of the bastards

Hmm.... Well, that might have some attraction. In a forum they can't get access to and, therefore, not take note of the number of reads their posts get and become enthusiastic about the potential for spamming said forum. Lets just stick to deleting their posts and accounts for now.

You'll also notice that the "most ever users" number has risen to 37, as of 10.13 this morning. I somehow doubt many of them were legitimate.

btw, Medvedikk: http://ajas.ath.cx/forum/profile.php?mo ... ofile&u=45 and zaperlos http://ajas.ath.cx/forum/profile.php?mo ... ofile&u=46

Yes, another two.

The unfortunate thing is.... Bazza's response to the spam post zaperlos posted was actually quite funny on its own when I'd deleted the spam (along the lines of admitting that the reason he wasn't sleeping with enough women had little to do with pheremones and more to do with his overbearing body odor and tiny pen0r). Unfortunately, zaperlos was still credited as the originator of the thread, so....
