What? You mean jersey cows? The first kind of cow we got milk from? It's called A2 milk.

If it really is lactose free, how come the ads don't mention it instead of claiming that it can cure autism?

It's not lactose free, it's just tolerable for people with lactose intolerance.
I've only had it once and I was fine, but then again I do have a fluctuating allergy.

Actually to be more on the point, A2 milk is missing a protein strain that is found in most other forms of milk. The protein that it is missing is the one that can cause some people problems. It is not lactose free..... only crappy milks such as soy are!

A2 Milk is devoid of a protein that is believed to cause excessive mucus production, asthma and other lung-related problems. I switched to A2 milk a couple of yerars ago. My lungs feel better, it tastes better, it doesn't have that disgusting fat taste normal milk does, yet it actually has taste unlike that swill called soy milk. It isn't lactose free though.

A2 Milk owns.

The reason why I didn't continue having A2 milk was the disgusting fat taste (and that I didn't trust it). Soy milk becomes like water once you get used to it and any other milk doesn't seem like a liquid anymore.

People dislike the taste of full cream milk? Call me old fashioned but I won't touch skim or soy milk with a barge pole. As far as I'm concerned it's nothing more then white water.

I want full cream but everyone else in the house seems to prefer skim so I'm stuck with it :x .

The A2 I drink is full cream. But it tastes very different from normal milk.

And yes, skim milk is watery and sour.

I find A2 milk to be just creamier on average than other brands. The cheaper brands taste awful but the more expensive brands taste the same. In Victoria, the full cream milk has the same taste and consistency of South Australian skim milk.

You are either insane, have no sense of taste, buy cheap nasty milk or a combination of the three. Try A2 full cream and Homebrand skim milk and tell me that they taste the same.

I buy Devondale milk! I never buy anything else nowadays! I've tried skim, 65% skim (or was it 75?) full cream, extra calcium, fortified milk, and normal milk, and seriously, they're really the same for me.
Homebrand is....well, you're right, homebrand is too watery. But then that's accepted isn't it? It's homebrand afterall...

I seriously didn't know there was so much to know about milk.

Wait a second. Isn't Devondale long life milk? That's a fair difference to refrigerated milk. Consistency, colour and taste are different from my experiences.

As for taste, I don't know what it is but normal A1 milk has this thickness to it that lingers on my tongue, it smells a bit stronger and I can definitely taste the fat in it. Skim milk just feels diluted. A2 milk has a smoothness to it that I can drink with ease and it's the only one that doesn't irritate my lungs.

Soy milk should really be called something else... fermented soybean juice? something like that.

Because soybeans don't have breasts.

And the Japanese will probably invent a way to generate a field of 18 year old maidens who can produce milk. Considering how Pure Blonde beer is supposedly made, it is theoretically possible.

Yeah, they do it good there. You can only get in in the country or at the Farmers Markets at Wayville. Typical they deny people the best. Doesn't help that for a $2 litre carton, farmers only get 50 cents of that.
