by asurin » Fri Apr 13, 2007 11:14 pm

Anyone interested in having a pub crawl, saturday, in the City, some time this month?

Posting this on Friday the 13th probably wasn't going to guarantee it much success.

Of course I'd go. Just as soon as I get over the blutig flu.... 8)

I'd need a few weeks notice so that I can secure the night off of work or I'm going to be there late as work normally finished at 9pm.

I don't think that'll be a problem. How about sometime next month?

Beer* + Brian = Happy** Brian.

*Exempted- VD, West End, Fosters, any American rubbish, warm English larger(Cold ok), any girly beer that sparkles or is better mixed.

** Imported beer*** = +25% happy.

*** Itallian = +1 happy (It's not that special, but it is more expensive****)

**** Expensive = 20% more happy. Unless fosters/crown/rundle street/nightclub/strip bar = True then -25% happy.

The Elephant and Wheelbarrow near Rundle Street used to do cider on tap. Scrumpy Jack, if my memory serves me well. Used to down pint glasses of that quite frequently, though admittedly it wasn't the best cider. The one we tried at PJ O'Briens at the AVCon After Party last year was much, much better....

That made me laugh because of the Schappell show, he was saying about how black(no offence intended) people don't know about apple/grape/orange juice and that they only know of apple/grape/orange drink.

Anywho if I was old enough to drink alcohol I would be there but not old enough.

HA HA!!!

No cider for you.

Dunno about Cider. I'd have it with a meal but I wouldn't get drunk on it.

And now you mention it I want some. But it's 11:30 and everything is closed....

If you guys are going to do a pub crawl, tell Hungry's about it because they should give you a discount or cheaper food deal for people on the pubcrawl.

Please post pics of pirate man, the "towering inferno".

And yes pirate man is invited (If he reads this since I can't actually ask him myself since I don't know him. Do I?)

The more amusing drunks the better.

Put down a definite time/day and we'll argue around it....

Saturdays this month: 5/5, 12/5, 19/5, 26/5.

Can't do anything on the 5th or the 19th, but the 12th and 26th are fine by me.

That will do. :)

PS. Come to AJAS tonight.

Jason, sell your blutig cards already. I still laugh at how I get the better of Tim in the deal we did when I quit like two weeks before all the existing cards got rereleased in cheaper versions. Breaking even ftw.

count me in, and remember Nightmoves......

don't take the car, use the bus instead, all for the cost of a normal metro ticket each way....

for those of you who don't know, wandering star is no more, these buses follow set routes only, setting down anywhere along the route...

http://adelaidemetro.com.au/routes/midnight.html

Oh BTW those living in Gawler, N224 runs to Gawler (225 to mawson lakes, over bridge and then as per 224 to philip Hwy then to Midway road continuing as per 228 to Smithfield Mc Donalds and then continuing down Main North road/Adelaide road/murray street to the BP/Shell corner)

Ah, yes. Rasberry and his rather disturbing hobby. Only disturbing, not to be mistaken with creepy, just very , very disturbing when he comments on where every bus is going.
As it stands I have managed to secure to 26th off of work so I'll be able to get drunk as well.

Meh, I'm pissed of at alcohol atm. I've had another mate have family killed by a drunk driver, this time both his parents. Seriously, after rapists, drunk drivers are the worst in my mind.

I'll be late to the crawl as I'm going to be having dinner with family to celebrate my sister's birthday. I'll be in the city around 8:00-8:30ish so I expect somebody to be sober enough to answer a phone and let me know where you are. Mind, you might as well stay in the German club for the first hour as the price of booze is decent enough there.

Mark and Paul had good reasons for not being there.
Which means the rest of your lack dedication.

I tried out the late night bus. They are happy to let you off anywhere along their route so I got off 5 mins from home. :)

Next time I think I'll go to a good meal pub for tea. The meals are good at the German Club but I wanted a bigger portion. I had a beef stew made with BEER. :)

I failed to eat at the German Club ... even though I've been there twice .

The last I remember was BIG snags with lots of sauerkraut .
I must feel proud about the things I choose ...,

Be it Ero-games , doujinshi , or clothes ; its all the SAME !

I was looking forward to going to the German club as I've enjoyed the food and drink from there in the past. Last Saturday, however, neither food nor drink would have stayed inside me for very long. Full blown case of food poisoning from dinner at Subway's on Wednesday morning after work....

I don't know if it is even likely that I'll make the meeting, tonight, as I'm still unable to move very far beyond a quick dash's distance from the nearest convenience. On the plus side, I've lost 5 kilos. And people said I would never lose the weight!

Dammit, I knew it was them! I got food poisoning around 2 weeks ago a few hours after eating from there. Ah blutig hell, the amount of Mylanta and Zantac I've had to take ever since then! (Yes Mappy, it doesn't go away for a LONG time. Welcome to hell, son.)
