I tend to stick to Verbatim dvds. None of them have failed on me, yet. DVD burners, on the other hand....

:D

Reputable brands are usually more reliable (hence the reputation), but problems can sometimes lie with the burner. For example: I once purchased a decent brand of CDs (can't remember which), and tried to burn them. Apparently my burner rejected them, so I bought another brand (Benq) and they've worked perfectly in that regard. DVD-wise, I'm using "mag media", bought from Foodland. They're working well enough.

Don't forget that Laptop burners are also pretty shaky things, due to the periods where they must stop spinning to cool down.
Although I don’t know about the directions at 4:51.
It’s commonly known when you look north in Japan East is to your left. Please don’t try to correct that sentence. It lasts only for a second but I wouldn’t expect a mistake like that.
