NEW YORK — U.S. department store Macy's East announced Wednesday that the popular Pokemon character Pikachu is set to make its second appearance at the 80th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Parade on Nov 23.

The parade will feature the bright yellow Pikachu, one of over 380 Pokemon characters, which will appear in a new balloon chasing after a Poke Ball. Pikachu will stand about 16.3 meters high, 11.2 meters wide, and 12.1 meters long. It will be filled with 15,000 cubic feet of helium, according to a statement released by Macy's.
